You, like me. Probably found it so hard to watch the news story of what the rioters did to our U.S. Capitol. I just feel ashamed of those that participated in doing all the damage to the capitol. Four people now dead one being shot by the police the other three had health issues that they died from. There are people in our society that are uncivilized and what transpired yesterday at our nation’s capital has shown who they are. America has always been a light to the world but its light grew dim yesterday from what those rioters did. Throw the book at those responsible for they know there would be consequences to their barbaric actions. This is not America’s way of dissolving disputes. An election has been held and we have a new president, Joe Biden, who will take over the reins of this important job of running this great country. We should all support him and pray for him to let God guide his as he makes decisions that will affect all of us. America always bounces back from tragedies and it will stand strong and proud once again because of its resiliency.
Please keep in prayer the many people that are in need of our prayers: the family of Donna Kay Knowles, Rose Watts, Charlie Mai Daniel, she is to have hip replacement surgery, Ronald Lawson, still dealing with back problems, Marie Johnson, Talmage Young, Rita Nokes, Helen Nixon, Ethelene Pedigo, Jeanette Smithson, and the family of Peggy Scott and Repsie Pedigo.
Went to our mailbox today and saw the flag was only half way down and I know it was a substitute mail carrier today as “Jamie” our regular mail carrier, Jamie always puts the flag down. The mail in our box which was 5 pieces went to another person not me. Now I’m wondering who possibly got my mail today! The mail service nowadays is certainly not like it used to be.
