The Rotary Club of Sparta learned about veteran job and educational opportunities in White County in a program presented by Anthony Scionti, Veteran’s Employment Represent-ative. Bill Loos, past president, invited Mr. Scionti, to speak at a luncheon meeting at the Sparta Country Club.“My responsibility is to provide ‘quality job opportunities’ for all veterans and local employers,” Scionti said. “The average time before a veteran seeks services from the State of Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development is about two years’ separation from the military.”
