



Royalty was named during Monday night’s DeKalb County Fair. Eighteen year-old Ellisyn Kelsey Cripps was crowned the 2021 Fairest of the Fair while Keara McKinsey Milligan, 14, was named Junior Fair Princess.
In the first competition of the night, nine young ladies, ages 13-16, vied for the title of Junior Fair Princess.
Keara McKinsey Milligan, the 14 year-old daughter of Josh and Cyndi Milligan of Smithville claimed the title and crown.
First runner-up went to Allyson Roxanne Fuller. She is the 15 year-old daughter of Anthony and Amanda Fuller of Smithville
Kailey Evangaline Herron, the 16 year-old daughter of Krista Mullican and Greg Herron of Smithville was named third runner-up.
Third runner-up went to Chloe Faith Lawson. She is the 15 year-old daughter of Victoria Poteet and Adam Denney of Smithville. She also received the Miss Congeniality award.
Katie-Madison Linder, the 13 year-old daughter of Joshua and Emily Linder of Smithville was named fourth runner-up.
Elizabeth Harlee Rae Stanley received the Miss Photogenic award. She is the 16 year-old daughter of Chris and Dana Stanley of Liberty.
In the second pageant of the evening, four lovely young ladies competed for the crown.
Ellisyn Kelsey Cripps was chosen Fairest of the Fair and will represent DeKalb County in the state competition in January. She is the 18 year-old daughter of Troy and Jamie Cripps of Smithville. She also received the Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality awards.
Alexis Grace Atnip was named first runner-up. She is the 18 year-old daughter of Gary and Veronica Johnson of Smithville
Second runner-up went to Mackenzie Leigh Sprague. She is the 17 year-old daughter of Wanda Sprague of Smithville.
Caitlin Alisabeth Milligan was received third runner-up. She is the 19 year-old daughter of Josh and Cyndi Milligan of Smithville.
