All are invited to join in on the festivities at the 2nd Annual Lighting of the Tower at Edgar Evins State Park,Silver Point, on Sat., Dec. 2nd from 5 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. This free, family friendly public event will include food, live music, tree trimming, a visit from Santa, and hayride (weather permitting.) The park office is built around a tall observation tower. During the evening all will go outside to witness the official Lighting Of The Tower and grounds to kick off the Christmas season at the park.
The park is located at 1630 Edgar Evins Park Road, Silver Point, TN 38582. The entrance is in DeKalb County, on Center Hill Lake, approximately 20 miles north of Smithville, 20 miles west of Cookeville, and 60 miles east of Nashville, across the highway from Big Rock Market and Caney Fork Outdoors.
