Steve and Jessica Warren have returned home from their trip to the Bahamas. They had a wonderful time.
A few years back Aubrey’s Aunt Nora was in a Nashville hospital. Jo was going to ride down with us to see their Aunt Noria. Well, Aubrey and I had to help Jo up in the truck as it is a four-wheel drive. Of course, we got tickled over all that transpired from this, and Jo named my truck the monster truck. You can only imagine how hilarious this has been for all of us. When Aubrey would say something about my truck, he would from that day on refer to it as the monster truck and just grin. Yesterday as I pulled into Short Mountain Market, there sat what I would definitely say was really a monster truck. It was a Ford truck, and yes, I know it is my Chevy’s competition, but to me, it could possibly have been twice the size of my truck just looking at it. I try to always give credit where credit is due. Anyway, I did not park too close to it as I feared it might gobble up my truck and its not even Thanksgiving yet! Yes, it was that intimidating and if my truck could talk, it would have no doubt thanked me, I’m sure. Can hardly wait to let Jo know about this real monster truck up here on the mountain.
