The Rotary Club of Sparta is pleased to announce that every third-grade student in White County, including home-schooled, received a dictionary. Rotary members visited each school to make a personal presentation to the students.
Don Randolph, Rotary member, said, “The students were very excited to receive their dictionaries. In some cases, a dictionary is one of the few books in the household.”
For many years at the beginning of each new school year, Rotary delivers hundreds of dictionaries free-of-charge, to all third-grade students.
People of Action Rotary is where neighbors, friends, and problem-solvers share ideas, join leaders, and take action to create lasting change in communities worldwide.
