Hunter Timothy Stanfield and Angela Nicole Richards were joined together in holy matrimony May 14, 2011 at New Home Baptist Church in Smithville. The ceremony was conducted by Bro. Mike Clayborn.
The couple’s two year-old son, Ryder Mac Stanfield, escorted the bride down the aisle.
Serving as maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Jessica Hobby, with the groom’s cousins, Linsey Ervin and Stephanie Rackley serving as bridesmaids.
Spencer Stanfield, brother of the groom, served as best man. Hayden Ervin, cousins of the groom, and best friend, Justin “Ark” Dunaway, served as groomsmen.
The wedding party entered as Brandon Rackley, the groom’s cousin, softly played guitar. The bride entered to the Wedding March played on piano by Angie Meadows.
The groom is the son of Mark and Kimberly Violet of Smithville. He is the grandson of Rebecca and the late Mac A. Ervin. His great-grandparents are the late Roscoe and Lillie Mae White Ervin and Erby and Mabel Turner Jones.
The bride is the daughter of Ronnie and Penny Richards of Dowelltown.
The groom attends Tenn. Tech. University. Pending graduation, he will receive a degree in Agricultural Engineering. He is also employed at Kilgore's Restaurant and is a member of the DeKalb Co. Volunteer Fire Department.
The bride attends Motlow State Community College and will receive a degree as a Registered Nurse upon graduation. She is also employed at the Webb House Retirement Center.
Family and close friends attended the afternoon ceremony.
The couple resides in Smithville.
