Such an easy target

The cooler weather has arrived in DeKalb County with some wind also. The leaves are blowing around everywhere. I hope you bring your flowers in so the frost won’t get to them. I have been walking in my driveway sometimes in the early mornings. I am surrounded by woods and pasture so I am used to hearing things around me. But I was walking one morning and I heard some rustling in the woods and just thinking to myself what if that is a bear or a coyote. I saw all the cows still laying down so I knew it was not a cow. Then I thought to myself what an easy target I would be if it was a hungry animal. I mean I can walk but I haven’t ran in years. I know this sounds so funny but I was laughing at myself also until I heard the noise again. I just done a little jog right back to my patio. I never found out what the noise in the woods was but I wasn’t looking to find out either. Then I got to thinking how crazy that was of me because my dog, Belle was on the patio and if she thought I was in danger she would bark or come running to me. It is amazing how thought come into your head and you act of those thoughts. But I do think I will stick to evening walking.

Get out and vote for the one you think will do the best job for our nation. This is the only true right you have go out voice your opinion by voting. I always heard don’t complain if you don’t vote.

Covid 19 is still out there and on the rise. Do not let your guard down. Continue with social distancing, washing of your hands and wearing your mask. Now they say the mask don’t help. I do not believe that it has to help not get germ to your nose and mouth. Do what you think is best. If mask don’t help why do surgeons wear mask while during surgery to prevent germs from entering the body.

Pray for the families that have lost loved ones and are fighting Covid 19. We have so much to pray for in our nation.

May God bless you all!
