Sunshine for the weekend

New Home News with Barbara Ann Ervin

Sunshine is in the forecast for the weekend. I am glad we can get out and enjoy the outdoors. Businesses are slowly starting to open back up here in DeKalb County. I know so people are planning their vacation. I have decided to spend mine at home this year. We are still spring cleaning it is amazing how much you can accumulate being married over 30 years. I think as you get older things that were your children’s is more sentimental to you. I think my house can breathe a little better now, but I still have a ways to go.

I wasn’t going to say anything but I have too. The death of George Floyd was unnecessary, scary, and a crime for no reason at all. The police officer took the life of a man with no cause. All the police officer involved should be punished to the highest. His death was something you wouldn’t think you would see on national television. Prayers for his family. Now on another note I can understand a protest for his death. I cannot understand all the riots that are going on around the world. Not every city, police officer in this world feel the same as the ones that committed this horrendous crime. Businesses are just now beginning to open and some of them are destroyed by the riots. The business owners did not commit this crime but they are being punished for it. May God bless our nation!
