October has arrived, and we can expect cool mornings now.

Get well wishes to Oleta Stanton who fell and broke her hip, also to Suzanne Williams, Director of the Chamber of Commerce who fell in Gatlinburg. Our prayers for healing go out to her and her family.

The local firefighters were honored during the worship service at First Methodist last Sunday. We appreciate them.

Sympathy to the family of Hoyte Odem who died last week. He was a leader and outstanding member f our society.
