Fall has arrived and many activities are going on around town and several are on vacation with school out.

The Girl Scout Troop 3094 enjoyed a hayride at Edgar Evins State Park. In the tour there were historical scenes. The girls made sandwiches and delivered these on their tour for the actors. Those present were Alexis Bennett, Carol Shinkle, Jaycee Daley, Kayce Hale, Kiana Driver and Olivia Hale. Troop leaders were Tonya Hale, Jade Shinkle and Kayla Hale. It was a long day and everyone enjoyed it.

The High School Sisters will gather this Saturday at the home of Fay Nixon for their girls’ reunion for lunch and chit-chat.
