Only two weeks before Christmas day. Hope you have your shopping finished. It’s good to shop at home.

Belated birthday greetings to the Womack twins, Loyce and Royce, I remember them in high school several years ago.

Smithville First Methodist have their own Christmas Card post office inside. This is so nice to send cards to everyone in church. This Christmas program on Dec. 24 at 11:00 a.m. will feature the children singing Christmas carols. The candlelight communion service will also be on Dec. 24 at 7 p.m.

Get well wishes to Laird Barnard, Bertha McBride, Dallas Johnson and Bill Bush.

Thought of the week: Praise God for this gift of Jesus this Christmas season.
