April Showers bring May flowers!
I like April. Why?  Because it's my birthday month.
When I was a little girl, I would circle my birthday date on our calendar, on both grandparents' calendar and on my aunt's calendar.  Lest they forget!  And it worked!  I was remembered with many presents.
I met a lovely young couple the other day.  They came in our Country Treasures Shoppe looking for diningroom chairs.  And fortunately, we had just the chairs they were looking for.
If I don't know the customers, I usually keep talking to them and find out if they're local or from out of town.
Well, this couple had moved to Tennessee, and Liberty, as a matter of fact from Colorado.  They missed the mountains in Colorado but loved our hills and the friendly people.  I usually share my stories from their state.  I had been to Colorado, many years ago, Colorado Springs and even Pike's Peak.
It's amazing how so many folk find our beautiful county with its hills, farmland and lakes and best of all, our friendly Southern people.
I keep waiting to receive my invitation to the royal wedding in London.  I hope it comes soon as I need to shop for the right dress.
If anyone else receives one, maybe we can carpool.!!!
Get well wishes to Mary Snow, Marilyn Cantrell, Sharon Cross(recent surgery), Janet McCarter at the Flower Box, and Delma VanHooser Murphy's upcoming surgery on April 13.
My sympathy to  Gianna Owens in the recent sudden death of her mother while on vacation.
The Country Treaures Shoppe is sporting a special Easter Table and other decorations.
There are crosses, Easter dramas and baskets.  Also two beautiful lawn benches have arrived.  Come by and browse on Thursday-Saturday, 10-4 p.m.
It must be spring as my lawn has been mowed once and it's time to do it again.  Be careful of the ticks around now.  Amen.
