WATCHING OVER HIM: My son, Jim, an avid skydiver, was scheduled to be a passenger on the ill-fated airplane that crashed last Sunday in Tullahoma, Tennessee. He would have been among 20 skydivers’ preparing to jump; however, the plane crashed before any aerial activity could begin. In summation, Jim was attending Church during this time on this fateful day. God was watching over him, just as He did me more than 17-years-ago.

LIKE SANDS THROUGH THE HOURGLASS: Like me, if you’re a dedicated “Days of Our Lives” fan, grab your tissues in preparation for John Black’s funeral service. The Bold and the Beautiful is boring – with a big B.
A MANNER OF FACT: TIPPING. It is essential for certain employees to make a decent income. Make sure to leave a tip as a token of your gratitude whenever possible. Even services you might not think of – like a haircut or dog grooming. Sometimes, a tip is the majority of wages earned by many employees and they depend on this gratuity for their life’s services.

WEEKLY LUCY UPDATE: Give Lucy five-minutes of daily inactivity and she’s ready to do something or to go anywhere. This time, it’s the latter. Case in point: She and Jim (travel partners) soon will be going on an extended trip to Iceland. And, yep – they’re flying! As for Brady and me, we’re addicted to the televised movies on the Hallmark Channel. Not to mention, we can stay cold by sipping on our Coke Zeroes, loaded down with Sonic ice. It’s fulfilling and a lot cheaper.
TALKING ABOUT FOODS: Did you know that Snickers in the top candy bar in the United States, followed by Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar, Kit Cat, Twix, Three Musketeers, Hershey’s Cookies and Crème, Reese’s Sticks, Almond Joy, Milky Way and Hershey’s Gold. If your favorite isn’t listed here, it’s probably not very nutritious.
UNTIL NEXT WEEK, Be nice!
