BRADY’S SHENANIGANS:  Mrs. Manners (me) has taught my little white-furred buddy how to ask before jumping.  No joke!  Just recently, I noticed he was standing in the middle of the room just staring at me – waiting for me to tell him that it was okay to jump in my lap.   My mother, Sallie Foutch, taught me how to do this when I was a little girl – about the same age as Brady is now. Which goes to show you that you’re never too young or too old to learn anything!!!

WORD OF THE WEEK:  DEMI-sec.  An adjective.  It is defined as “Medium dry wine.”

A WISE MAN ONCE SAID:

Hate has four letters but so does love.

Enemies have seven letters, but so do friends.

Lying has five letters, but so does truth.

Cry has three letters, but so does joy.

Negativity has 10 letters, but so does positivity.

LIFE IS TWO-SIDED.  Choose the better side of it.

WEEKLY MANNERS:  Dress appropriately for the occasion and location, taking into account the dress code and cultural norms.  If you are unsure of the dress code, remember that it is always better to be slightly overdressed than under-dressed.

ANGIE’S BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK:  “The rainbow that I have put in the sky will be my sign to you and to every living creature on earth.  It will remind you that I will keep this promise forever.”  (Genesis 9:12-13)

A QUOTE TO REMEMBER:  ‘In three words, I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life; it goes on.” (Robert Frost).

WEEKLY LUCY UPDATE:  She’s somewhat better and still making me laugh so hard, I could wet my pants!  And, you’re never too young or too old to laugh.  It’s the best medicine, plus it has been proven that you will live longer if you’re happy!  People who never laugh or find joy in life make me nauseous.   Calling Lucy!!!

Until next week, be nice!
