Jessie Strickland and Rawlin Vanatta are pleased to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage. Jessie is the daughter of Jerry Strickland and the late Melissa Strickland of Alexandria. Her grandparents are Mrs. Doris Strickland and the late Jerry Strickland, Sr. of Brush Creek, Mr. and Mrs. John and Alice Meredith of Carthage, and great-grandmother Mrs. Loudine Thompson of Hendersonville.Jessie is a 2009 graduate of DeKalb County High School and is currently a student of Tennessee Technological University.Rawlin is the son of Jeff and Jalene Vanatta of Dowelltown.
