Washer crowned Young Miss Queen

Kaylan Isabell Prichard, left, claimed the Miss Photogenic award in the Young Miss contest, while Madeline Cierra Stephens was awarded the Miss Personality title.

During Saturdays Spring Blossom pageants, nine lovely ladies competed for the title of Young Miss.

Zayliegh Grace Washer claimed the crown. She is the eight-year-old daughter of Larry and Rachel Bain of Smithville.

Washer succeeds last year’s Young Miss Kaylee Brooke Kent, the daughter of Kevin and Beth Kent of Dowelltown.

First runner-up went to Kaylan Isabell Prichard. She is the seven-year-old daughter of Andy and Chrissy Prichard of Liberty. She was also awarded the Miss Photogenic award.

Averie Nicole McMinn took second place. She is the nine-year-old daughter of Nathan and Amanda McMinn of Smithville.

Third runner-up went to Bailey Elizabeth Kidd. She is the nine-year-old daughter of Kelli Bess and Brandon Kidd of Smithville.

Madeline Cierra Stephens was named fourth runner-up. She is the eight-year-old daughter of Jimmy and Latisha Stephens of Smithville. She also received the Miss Personality award.

Others participating included Lilliana Vickers, the nine-year-old daughter of Brandi Norton of Smithville; Olivia Carol Gilley, the eight-year-old daughter of Jody and Natalie Gilley of Smithville; Ava Faith Pack, the eight-year-old daughter of Andy and Jessica Pack of Rock Island; and Sarah Phillips, the seven-year-old daughter of Tim and Laurel Dunn and David Phillips of Smithville.
