Well, I seen where the great groundhog saw his shadow more winter to come but here we have spring, and winter one day it is sunshine and warm and the nest day it is cold, raining or snowing. I think we need to get a groundhog here from Tennessee to predict our weather. I do know where one is at but I will leave him alone. This morning my yard was full of pretty birds all around searching for food of course I put some out for them. I think Sunday when Charlee and I went out to throw some crackers in the yard that stirred their attention to my yard.
This Friday morning is just beautiful the sun is shining the temperature is up and no wind. A beautiful day I hope you are able to get out today if nothing else just sit on your porch. I hope you got to enjoy at least one day over the weekend. Sunday we all here in Smithville woke up to a beautiful fluffy, white snow. The trees were covered and it was such a pretty winter scene. All through Smithville snowmen were being built, snow crème was being made, and of course the occasional snow ball fight. Many people got in their cars and drove around just to see all the beautiful scenery. God can paint a beautiful picture. Also as I told you it snowed on my buttercups. And it snowed on February 1st last year. As far as the main roads they are clear school this Monday morning is two hours later than usually as the temperature is supposed to melt the remaining snow.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week. Stay safe and keep warm.
