Thweatt

Funeral service for Albert Thweatt, age 80, of Smithville were held September 21, 2017 at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bobby Thomason officiated with burial following in the Jefferson Cemetery.

Mr. Thweatt passed away September 16, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.  He was a Christian and a retired construction worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Beecher and Lillie Thweatt; mother, Magelene Redmon Thweatt, and a brother, Mack Thweatt.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Linda White Thweatt of Smithville; two sons, Kenny Beecher Thweatt of North Carolina and Ralph Allen Thweatt of Ohio;  daughter, Debi Thweatt of Florida; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren;  brother, Farris and Barbara Thweatt of Smithville;  sisters, Joel and Harold Dawes of Smithville, Jannie and Clayton Christenberry of Knoxville, Judy and Albert Warren of Smithville, and Sue and Larry Taylor of Lebanon; and sister-in-law, Elaine Thweatt of Sparta. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins survive.

Pallbearers included Scott Odom, Joe Wohlander, Kenny Thweatt, Randy Street, Patrick Clayborn and Grady Cope.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, TN, was in charge of the arrangements.
