Funeral services for Alene Adamson Harvey, 90, of Alexandria were held May 14 at Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church. Rev. Tim Diffenderfer officiated with burial following at Talley Cemetery.Mrs. Harvey passed away May 11 at U.M.C. Hospital in Lebanon. She was a long-time member of Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church and a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her parents A.C. Adamson and Letha Francis Martin; husband Joe Thomas Harvey; a son James Thomas (Tommy) Harvey; son-in-law Eddie M. Crips; brothers Clarence Adamson, Thurman Adamson; sisters Bobbie Crook, Ada Hicks, Lucille Murphy, Georgia Adamson and Ethel Crook.Survivors include her children Mary Katherine (Richard) Matus, Margaret Doris (Donnie) Uselton, Charlotte Elaine (Ken) Chapman, all of Lebanon, and Brenda Gail Crips of Smithville; daughter-in-law Miranda Harvey of Alexandria; granchildren Kendra (David) Erie, Shelly Lynn Lanius, Randal (Tara) Harvey, Kevin (Angelia) Harvey, Chad (Kayla) Harvey, Ryan Crips and Jeff (Melissa) Crips; great-grandchildren Andrea Chapman, Drew Erie, Kailey Harvey, Wyatt Harvey, Grace, A.J. and Zack Crips and Jeremy Crowe; great-great-grandchildren Bailey Crowe; sisters Betty Jean Bryan and Sara Hicks; sister-in-law Mable Christian, Montie Lee Robinson and Willie Harvey; and several nieces and nephews.Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria, was in charge of the arrangements.SMITHVILLE REVIEWSmithville, TNMay 15, 2013
