Funeral services for Alfred Landon Hale, 76, of Smithville, were held March 9 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Sam Kinzer officiated with burial following at Mt. Ararat Cemetery.
Mr. Hale passed away March 7 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was retired from being a self-employed landscaper and affiliated with the Open Word Tabernacle Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Lealh Hale; nine brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife Nell Hale; a son Allan and Sonya Hale, all of Smithville; a grandchild Ashley Craddock of Murfreesboro; and two sisters Thelma Mooneyham and Elsie Miller, both of Smithville.
Pallbearers included Danny Hale, Michael Mooneyham, Carl Byford, Brian Neal, Bruce Neal and Ethan Byford.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville,  was in charge of the arrangements.
