Funeral services for Alfred Warren Pistole Sr., 93, of Franklin were held July 6 at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home.

Bro. Brett Stewart and Bro. Jim Frazier officiated, with burial following at Salem Cemetery.

Mr. Pistole passed away July 3 at his residence peacefully in his sleep and woke up in heaven.

He was born Novembere 11, 1920 in Liberty. His parents were Charlie Lee Pistole and Intha Sissom.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Jimmy, Vesper, and Mary Charles.

He was a retired southern minister currently attending The Neat Church in Franklin. He was a WW II Navy veteran, a teacher and a foreign Missionary.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Virginia Pistole; children, Patsy (Tom) Harris of Murfreesboro, Al (Caroline) Pistole Jr.; grandchildren, Rachael (Chris) Rainwater, Colt (Heather) Harris, Elizabeth Graham Pistole, Natalie Ross Pistole, Warren Pistole III; great-grandchildren, Francesca Rainwater, and Colette Rainwater; nephew, Jerry Pistole; three great-nephews also survive.

Pallbearers included; Colt Harris, Chris Rainwater, John Pistole, Jarrett Pistole, Jerry Christensen, and Warren Pistole.

Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria, was in charge of the arrangements
