The Lord called one of his most precious angels home Friday night, September 18, 2015, Patrick Ryan Allen. His welcoming home party was of great joy with many of those awaiting his arrival, his father Dave; brothers, David and Robbie Allen; maternal grandmother, Patricia Fenimore; grandpa, Loyd Hale along with his many cousins, family and all his many friends that have preceded him. Pat was a member of St. Gregory’s Catholic Church and was one of the Duke’s of Hazzard’s biggest fans. Still awaiting to join Patrick are his mother, Lynn Smith of Smithville; sister, Nanci (Eric) Drennan of Smithville; 3 brothers, Chris Allen (Resha Self) of Smithville, Mike (Janet) Allen of Smithville, Tommy Allen of Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law, Suzanne Allen of Clermont, FL; maternal grandfather, Richard Fenimore of Smithville; special grandma, Josephine Hale of Smithville; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Catholic Mass was held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church with Father David Cooney officiating and burial followed in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers were Jacob Cripps, Evan Cripps, Dusty Drennan, Christopher Allen, Michael Allen, and Chauncey Langevin.
