Haggard

Alton Donald Haggard, 76, of Smithville died Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Vanderbilt Hospital.

He was a member of the Jefferson Community Church and a retired truck driver with A.H. Farms.

The funeral was held Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Jason Nunley officiated with burial following in the Peeled Chestnut Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Audra Brown Haggard; wife, Dorothy Haggard; a brother, James Haggard; and a great grandchild, Bryson Braseel.

Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Linder and Meresa and Jeff Winchester, all of Smithville; two sons, Donald and Connie Haggard of Smithville and Michael and Sandra Haggard of McMinnville; as well as 12 grandchildren and 19 great- grandchildren.

Pallbearers included Jacob and J.J. Winchester; Brandon, Daniel, Caleb, and Aaron Haggard; Seth Braseel, Heath Robinson, and Chris Mufford.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, TN was in charge of the arrangements.
