Anna Lou Barnes Adams 58 of Smithville died Thursday, March 30, 2017 at her residence.

She was a Baptist and a former employee of Tenneco.

The family has chosen direct cremation however a memorial service will be announced later. No visitation will be held.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Barnes and Betty Jean White Braswell; husband, Ricky Dale Adams and a daughter, Natasha "Tasha" West.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Dana West of Smithville. A daughter, Alicia Adams of Nebraska. Six grandchildren, Jacob Helms of Nashville, Emily Northcut of McMinnville, Brandon Sykes, Sadie and Shelby West all of Smithville, and Michael Florez of Nebraska. One sister, Berna Barnes of Smithville and one brother, Charlie Barnes of McMinnville. Sister-in-law, Brenda and Dale Buck of Silver Point. Several nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, TN was in charge of the arrangements.
