Funeral services for Annette Winfree Mitchell, 65, of Brush Creek  were held March 4  at Avant Funeral Home. Bro. Roger Grisham and Bro. Ricky Rios  officiated, with burial following at Brush Creek Cemetery.
She passed away Feb. 28 at Lexington Memorial Hospital in West Columbia, South Carolina.
Mrs. Mitchell was born September 12, 1948 in Brush Creek to the late Fred Adamson Winfree and Evelyn Gertrude Grandstaff Winfree.
She was a Pentecostal and a 1966 graduate of DeKalb County High School. She married Stan Mitchell on June 6, 2007.
She was preceded in death by brother, Randy Winfree; two sisters, Wanda Lassiter and Jeanette Winfree.
She is survived by her husband, Stan Mitchell; two sisters, Debra Grisham of Grant, and Benita Barrett of Brush Creek; brother, Rickey (Sandy) Winfree of Alexander; sister-in-law, Lezah McDuffie of Lancaster, South Carolina; mother-in-law, Hazel Stanley Mitchell of Lancaster, South Carolina; nieces and nephews, Ginger (Ricky) Rios, Genene Kyle, Nathan (Janet) Kyle, Dwayne (Erikc) Winfree, Wendell Winfree, Nakita (Zach) Gardner, Mona (Ken) Kelchner, Renee Buysman, Evelyn Buysman, and Ronnie Foster, Jr.
Avant Funeral Home, Alexandria, was in charge of arrangements.
