Rhoades

Arthur Allen Rhoades, 69, of Alexandria, TN passed away January 11, 2017 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

He was born August 27, 1947 in Sunbury, PA.

He was a customer service-Home Health worker. He loved playing tennis with friends, hunting and fishing. He was a member of Mt. Camel Social Club. He attended Sunbury, PA high school where he graduated in 1965.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Allen Rhoades, and Shirley Anita Dane; sister, Kay Anita Ray and a brother, Paul J. Herin Jr.

He is survived by a daughter, Cathy Russell; granddaughters, Courtney Russell, Heather- Sprenkel all of Shamokin, PA; aunt, Nellie Nadzon; nieces, Tara Herin Young, Jennifer Herin Staszak, Tracy Herin, and Shirley M. Ray (Where he resided) in Alexandria; five great nieces; seven great nephews; cousins, Linda Rhodes Swartz, Cindy Gardner, Ramona Ross and Marth Boop.

Graveside service was held Friday, January 13, 2017 at Hunter Memorial Park.

Anderson Funeral Home, Alexandria, TN was in charge of the arrangements.
