Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Goodman Atnip, 62, of Smithville were held Aug. 30 at Keltonburg United Methodist Church.

Bro. Mike Neal and Bro. Michael Hale officiated.

She passed away Aug. 27 at Saint Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER.

Jean was preceded in death by her father, Riley Goodman.

She was a member of the Keltonburg United Methodist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Austin Atnip of Smithville; two children, Barry Atnip and Angela Atnip both of Smithville; three grandchildren, Zachery Walker, Meranda Atnip and Hunter Murphy; mother, Clara Mae Goodman of Smithville; two brothers, Lloyd (Pat) Goodman and Donnie Goodman both of Smithville.

Pallbearers included; William Jones, Dalton Jones, Ricky Adams, Jeremy Foster, Brian Foster, and Gary Bowman.

Honorary Pallbearers; Terry O’Neal, Reed Miller, and Tracy Bowman.
