Funeral services for Audrey Jean Summers, 78, of Smithville, were held July 17 at the chapel of Love Cantrell Funeral Home. Bros. Jack Patterson, Mark Summers and Bill Robertson officiated with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Summers passed away July 14 at her residence. She was a homemaker and affiliated with Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Summers; father Olen Patterson; and a sister Nell Cantrell.
Survivors include her two children Mark (Nan) Summers of Waycross, Ga. and Malia (David) Laird of Smithville; six grandchildren Jason (Trina) Summers of Glennville, Ga., Adam (Melody) Summers of Chelsea, Mich., Rachel (Daniel) Guenther of Wayne, Mich., Timothy (Hope) Summers, both of Waycross, Ga., and Jack Famulski of Smithville; 15 great-grandchildren; mother Nadine Allen Patterson of Smithville; two brothers Jack (Judy) Patterson and Harold (Sue) Patterson, both of Smithville; two sisters Billie Ann (Sam) Odom of Smithville and Judy (Buddy) Wade of Tallahassee, Fla.
Serving as pallbearers Jason and Adam Summers, A.W. and Shannon Patterson, Greg Lewis and Darrell Watson.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
