Memorial services for Mrs. Barbara Ellen Dost, 83, of Cookeville were held Saturday, Sept. 21 at the chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Reverend Dwight Henry officiated. Mrs. Dost died Sunday, Sept.15 at home in Cookeville surrounded by her loving family.She was born Nov. 7, 1929 in Merrill, MI to the late Chauncey and Ruth Witchi Shebester.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mathew John Dost; son, John Dost; and brother, Joseph Shebester.Barbara was gifted with a loving, kind, caring, compassionate, and accepting personality.
