Barbara June Hale, age 80 of Liberty, passed away Monday night, August 17, 2020 at her son's residence in Avon, IN.
She was born August 11, 1940 to her parents, the late Adam Frank and Roberta Payne Daughtry in Soddy Daisy, TN. She lived many years in Indiana. Barbara attended the Temperance Hall Pentecostal Church and was retired quality controller in air craft electronics. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Ed Abernathy; previous husband, Wayne O'rear and 10 brothers and sisters.
Barbara leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Lonnie Hale of Liberty; children, Chris Alexander of Rome, GA, Stephen (Cathy) Agnew of Kennesaw, GA, Stacy (Beckie) Agnew of Avon, IN, Arthur Agnew of Clarksville, TN, Kevin (Judith) Hale of Smithville, Stacey (Misty) Hale of Hartsville and Chrystal Hale of Smithville; 24 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Gail (Nathan) Warren of Cookeville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Chris McMillen officiating and burial followed in Salem Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Levi, Jacob, Kyle, Ritchie, Erikk and Nick.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
