Funeral services for Bessie Lee Taylor Driver, 85, of Liberty, were held Feb. 6 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Jerry Driver officiated with burial following in New Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Driver passed away Feb. 4 at DeKalb Community Hospital. A homemaker, she was a member of Alexandria First Baptist Church and attended Brush Creek United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Madison and Mary Alice Martin Taylor; her husband, Avin Driver; one son, Charles Driver; one great-grandson, Jimmy Lee Gibbs; two sons-in-law, Jimmy Hullett and Bobby Jackson; two brothers, Johnny and James Taylor; and one sister, Inez Holland.
Survivors include eight children, Alice Hullett of Dowelltown, Wayne (Donna) Driver of Alexandria, James (Donna) Driver of Dagsboro, Del., Marie (Bo) Tyree of Watertown, Terri Dodd of Dowelltown, Cindy (David) Avera of Alexandria, Helen (David) Benett of Antioch, and Linda Jackson of Smyrna; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.Justin Avera, Daniel Tyree, Chris Walker, John Driver, Ernie Adsmond and James Driver.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
