Funeral services for Betty “Dean” King, 73, of McMinnville were held March 13 at Kingdom of Jesus Church with Bro. Glenn Chapman officiating.Mrs. King passed away March 11 at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a member of the Pentecostal Kingdom of Jesus Christ and an employee of Texas Boot.She was preceded in death by her husband Robert King; parents Plateau and Minnie Towery; a son-in-law Sherman Johnson; and sisters Alice Reynolds, Teen Towery and Ednar Cook.
