Betty Sue McKenney, 81, of Smithville  died Sunday evening, Jan. 13 at her residence. Born in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Baxter and Mary Jane Vaught Scott.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Roger W. McKenney on Nov. 7 and by her brother, Grover Scott of Portland, Ore.
Graveside services were Jan. 16 at the Griffin Cemetery in Watertown with Rev. Steve Mayle officiating.
Hunter Funeral Home, Watertown, was charge of the arrangements.
