Funeral services for Beulah Mai Hendrixson, 94, of Smithville, were held July 25 at the chapel of Love Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Royce Martin, Bro. Jim Rogers and Bro. Doyle Slager officiated with burial following at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hendrixson passed away July 23 at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was retired from Fuston’s Five and Dime Store and affiliated with Snow Hill United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Hendrixson; parents Isaac and Callie Dirting Smith; a brother Othel Smith; and two sisters Maureen Tramel and Alvilda Hendrixson.
Survivors include her three daughters Nira Snyder of McMinnville, Judy (Royce) Martin of Liberty, and Lori (Wes) Rogers of Smithville; five grandchildren Chris (Kelley) Snyder of Rock Island, Shannon (Lisa) Snyder of McMinnville, Deanna (Mickey) Hall of Lebanon, Curtis (Kimberly) Martin of Liberty and Allison Rogers of Smithville; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a brother Doyle Smith of Smithville; four caretakers Helen Fults of Liberty, Martha Fults of Smithville, Faye Murphy of Smithville and Wanda Byford of Smithville; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Chris, Shannon, Noah and Zackary Snyder, Curtis and Josh Martin and Mickey and Matthew Hall.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
