A celebration of life services for Billie Grizzle, 75, of Murfreesboro was held May 17 at the Hale Cemetery in the Pea Ridge Community. Bro. Leonard Herman officiated.
She passed away April 24.
A native of Liberty, she was the daughter of the late Shelia H. and Vernie Hale Parker.
She was also preceded in death in death by her sister, Jean Richardson; two brothers, Shelia Jr. and Jackie Parker; brothers-in-law, Albert, Clifton, and Hoyte Grizzle, and Clifton Ferrell.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Grizzle of Murfreesboro; son, Scotty (Sarah) Grizzle of Woodbury; daughter, Glenna Davis of Nashville; brothers, James (Catherine) Parker of Woodbury, John (Edna) Parker of Liberty; sisters, Jessie Mae Parker Ferrell of Woodbury, Elizabeth Parker (David) Burnette of Readyville, Joyce Parker (Jim) Speakman of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Hunter, Dallas, Slade and Sadey Grizzle and Parker Davis; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Grizzle was a devoted, loving , caring, daughter, mother, grandmother, and individual. She loved to sing with her beautiful voice.
She enjoyed nature and animals. her favorite time was spent at home with her family and friends. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
She retired from the Alvin C. York V.A. Medical Center. Smith Funeral Home, Woodbury, was in charge of arrangements.
