Funeral services for Billy B. Driver, 79, of Lebanon were held Dec. 29 at Ligon and Bobo Funeral Home. Bro. Larry Bullard and Bro. Mathew Meridieth officiated, with burial following at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
A native of DeKalb County, he was the son of the late Ed and Birdie Clayborne Driver.
He was a 1956 graduate of Watertown High School, and was a member of Fairview Church. He worked for the Tennessee Woolen Mills for 35 years, and retired as custodian from Cumberland University.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Pulley and Leette Vaught; his beloved dog Max of 11 years.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Annette Reece Driver; special nephew, Eddie (Jane) Vaught; sister-in-law, Brenda (Jack) LaFever; Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Pallbearers; Spencer King, Greg and Jeff Vaught, Eddie Reed, Mathew Meridieth, Jason Ligon, Jack LaFever.
Ligon and Bobo Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of arrangements.
