Funeral services for Billy Terry Puckett, 62, of Smithville were held May 18 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.  Burial followed in Jones Cemetery. 
Mr. Puckett passed away May 17 at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. He worked for DeKalb County Road Department and was affiliated with the Church of Christ. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dalton and Cora Beatrice Bates Puckett; two sisters, Clara Castro and Evelyn Burnett; and brother, Winn Puckett.
Survivors include his brother and sister, Henry Puckett of Silver Point and Jean Lepore of Texas. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
