Mr. Brad Morrow, 51, of Brush Creek died Nov. 28 at his Earl Steel Road West home of liver cancer with which he was diagnosed Sept. 21 of this year.
Eld. Charles Allen Gentry officiated at the Dec. 1 funeral services from the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Burial followed in the Defeated Creek Memorial Gardens.
Born James Bradley Morrow in Orlando in Orange County, Fla. on June 29, 1960, he was the son of James Henry “Jim” Morrow of Scottsboro, Ala. and the late Beulah Doris Peavler Morrow Smith.
Mr. Morrow was married to Difficult Community native Janet Lynn Thomas in Brush Creek on Nov. 9, 1997.
He was a 1979 graduate of Colonial High School in Orlando.
Mr. Morrow attended the North Carthage Missionary Baptist Church.
Before his illness he was a truck driver for Patterson Farms hauling grain.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 14 years and his father is a daughter, Teresa Marie Morrow of Orlando; sister, Cheryl Pascoe and husband, Michael, of Smithville; brother, Tim Morrow, of Wilmington, N.C.; half sister, April Morrow Walton and husband, Ken, of Scottsboro, Alabama.
Sanderson Funeral Home of Carthage was in charge of the arrangements.
