Graveside services for Brenda Gayle Thomas Stanley, 58, of Smithville, were held Oct. 18 at Whorton Springs Cemetery. Bro. B.J. Thomason and Randy Smith officiated with burial following.   
Ms. Stanley passed away Oct. 17 at St. Thomas Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith and worked in a nursery.
 She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Thomas and her mother and step-dad, Jessie and Ceasar Dunn.
Survivors include her sons, Benjamin (Marie) Pascal, of McMinnville, and Danny Smithson, of Smithville; two sisters, Sue Patterson, of Smithville, and Donna Duffield, of McMinnville; and a special friend, Mary Pack, of Smithville. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Pallbearers included Benjamin Pascal, Danny Smithson, Steve Potter, Randy Maple Jr., Mark Duffield, Timy Patterson and Jeff Smith.
DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
