Brewer

Thomas Brewer, 69, a McMinnville resident and Atlanta, Ga. Native was born February 5, 1946 and died suddenly Feb.17, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

A retired employee from Carrier Corporation, he was the son of the late Henry Roy and Lois Griffith Brewer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandson, Jonathan Hale; two brothers, James and H.R. Brewer; three sisters, Betty Nations, Ola Mae Davis and Shirley Couch.

He was married March 30, 1968 to Sharon Brock Brewer of the Centertown Community. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children and spouses, Anthony and Michelle Brewer all of the Centertown Community, and Tonya and Jeff Hale of Smithville; four grandchildren, Brittany McNair and husband Scott, Shelton Brewer, Kayla Hale and Kayce Hale; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Warren and Dot Brewer of Riverdale, Ga and William Brewer of Atlanta, Ga; two sisters, Frances Hawkins of Newman, Ga and Ruby Pitman of Monticello, Ga.

Visitation was held Feb. 22 in High’s Parlor. There was no service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Warren County Relay for Life.
