Funeral services for Brown Page, 88, of Smithville, were held March 12 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Virgil Hibdon Jr. officiated with burial following in Whorton Springs Cemetery.   
Mr. Page passed away March 10 at DeKalb Community Hospital. He retired from Smithville Concrete, was an U.S. Navy veteran and was affiliated with the Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Mary Cripps Page; a sister, Wilma Vanatta; and a niece, Faye Pedigo.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Page of Smithville; three children, Debbie and Roy Colwell of Murfreesboro, Roger Page of Smithville, Sharron and Johnny Colwell of Smithville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three nieces.
Pallbearers included Joshua Colwell, Phillip Stewart, David Stewart and Jeremy Colwell.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
