Funeral services for Mr. Willie Harrison Cantrell, 54, of Smithville were held April 2 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Michael Hale officiated with burial following in DeKalb Cemetery.

 

He passed away at DeKalb Community Hospital ER on April 2.

 

He was born December 6, 1950 to his parents, the late Leslie Harrison and Sally Louell Driver Cantrell.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Marie and Betty Lou Cantrell.

 

He was a retired maintenance man with Smithville Furniture Company and was a Methodist.

 

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Bessie Lee Crook Cantrell of Smithville, two children, Lori Fox of McMinnville and Jack Harrison Cantrell of Murfreesboro; two grandchildren, Brandon and Jonathan Cleavenger; two brothers, Kenneth and Danny Cantrell of Smithville; Special friend, Doug Boyd.

 

Pallbearers included; Kolby Bullard, Brandon Cleavengr, Doug Boyd, Jim Dunsworht, Tracy Veach, and Mark West.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help funeral expenses.
