Mr. Carlon Lee Miller, age 72 of Smithville passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at St Thomas DeKalb Hospital.

Carlon was born April 21, 1948 in Lebanon to his parents, the late Lee Homer and Dorothy Ione Sandlin Miller. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Billy Miller and a niece, Christie Miller.

He was retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation with 22 years of service and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two sisters, Tammy (Richard) McDonald of Smithville and Shirley Redmon of McMinnville; nieces and nephews, Jamie Ramos, Jennifer (David) Nichols and Joseph (Keeli) Pack all of Smithville, Jason (Kacy) Miller of Smithville, Anthony (Jasmine) Miller of Murfreesboro and Preston Miller of Watertown;  Angie (Cortez) Hawkins of KY, Tina (Ron) Paschal of Brush Creek and Leslie Fisk of Smithville; special nieces and nephews, Jaleana Ramos, Josiah Ramos, Kayla (Jordan) Adams, Brayden Miller, Kinslee Adams, Benjamin Adams, Branson Adams, Ryder Miller and Rowan Miller.

Funeral service was held on Friday, July 31, 2020 from the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Nathan Thomason and Bro. Jason Miller officated with burial following at Bethel Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were David Dawson, David Kilgore, Jordan Adams, Brayden Miller, Clay Kilgore and John Kilgore

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
