Charles Dee Cook, 79, of Hermitage, died March 14. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet.
Mr. Cook was the son of the late Bob and Jessie Hale Cook. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Norman, Bill and Buddy Cook and his sister, Lucille Harris.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Carolyn Parker Cook; a son, Lynn (Debbie) Cook; daughters, Pattie (Phil) Baker and Sandi (Ed) Carter; a brother, Jack (Matilda) Cook; a sister, Irene Durso; grandchildren, Scott, Cory and Chase Baker, Lyndsey Kuhl, Clint and McCall Cook and Heather Arbuckle; and great-grandchildren, Brayden, Kaylen and Gavyn Baker, Caden, Cooper and Chloe Kuhl and Bryson Arbuckle.
Funeral services were held March 16 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kevin Medlin, Rev. Chase Baker and Rev. John Hun officiating. Interment followed at Salem Cemetery in Liberty.
His grandchildren served as the pallbearers.
Bond Memorial Chapel, Mt. Juliet, was in charge of the arrangements.
