A Masonic funeral service for Charles Harry Morgret, 74, of Smithville was held Feb. 1 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home.
Mr. Morgret passed away Jan. 28 at the Veterans Hospital in Nashville. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Marine Corps, a Mason and a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his best friend and caregiver Ellen Ammons of Smithville; a brother Norman Morgret of Maryland; two sisters Edie Hunt and Myra McKenzie of Maryland; step-children Darrin and Devin; two step-granchildren Nathaniel and Blaine; and two close Masonic friends Harold Hoover and Dennis Boland.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville,  was in charge of the arrangements.
