Clamon Cantrell, age 86 of Smithville, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a self-employed electrician.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Lula Fisher Cantrell and his wife, Faye Tittsworth Cantrell.
Survivors include two daughters Gwen and Jay Stutts of Smithville and Beth and Jack Good of Lascassas; four grandchildren, Matthew Agee of Smithville, Laura Good of Lascassas, Leslie Boyd, and Katie Stutts of Smithville; great granddaughter, Graceson Boyd of Smithville; a sister Sharon Martin of Florida. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service was held Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Terry Little officiated and burial followed in the Tittsworth Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Matthew Agee, Shane Turner, Tim Staley, Gary Johnson, Chip Jones, David Peacock, Dave Templeton and Jimmy Lewis. Honorary pallbearers were Clamon’s golf, fishing and poker buddies
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
