Funeral services for Clara Taylor Fuson, 97, of Smithville, were held March 15 at the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Terry Feslers and Bro. Mike Carpenter officiated with burial following in Mt. Holly Cemetery.
Mrs. Fuson passed away March 13 at her residence. She was a retired machine operator at the Shirt Factory and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Nola Taylor; husband, James Fuson; four brothers, Hobert, H.D., Loyd and Carlin “Tye-Cobb” Taylor; and a sister, Inamae Trapp.
Survivors include her two sons, James and Barbara Fuson of Nashville and Wayne and Peggy Fuson of Smithville; four grandchildren, Mike and Dawn Fuson, Lisa and David Jones of White House, Jerry Fuson of Smithville and Jenny and Todd Cantrell of Smithville; six great-grandchildren, Kevin Southgate, Courtney Fuson, Justin Fuson, Lacey Jones and Madi and Megan Cantrell; and two sisters, Reba and Virgil Nixon and Hatten Taylor, all of Watertown.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements.
