Funeral services for Alan Clark, 45, of Smithville were held Dec. 20 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bro. Dwayne Cornelius officiated, and burial followed at DeKalb Memorial Gardens.

 

Mr. Clark passed away Dec. 16 at his residence. He was self-employed.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Parsley Clark and grandfathers-in-law Max Cantrell and Chester Parsley.

 

He is survived by his children, Morgan and Leah Clark and Dakota Clark and fiancé Brady McGhee all of Smithville; granddaughter Lyren Clark; parents William "Red" and Patsy Herman Clark; brothers Billy Clark and David (Teresa) Clark of Smithville; mother-in-law Tammy (Ronnie) Mollinet of Smithville; father-in-law Ricky (Maria) Parsley of Smithville; sister-in-law Kristy (Chris) Williams of Smithville; nephews Wesley Jordan, Russell Clark, Brian Clark and Joseph Clark; niece Caroline Williams; and grandmothers-in-law Imogean Cantrell and Grace Parsley.

 

Pallbearers included Larry Caldwell, Russell Clark, Ronnie Mollinet, Wendell McAbee, Shannon Young and Wesley Jordan.

 

Honorary pallbearers were David Clark, Billy Clark, Brian Clark, Joseph Clark, Chris Williams and Brady McGhee.

 

DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Smithville, was in charge of the arrangements
