Funeral services for Claude Allen, 77, of Liberty were held March 16 at Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Royce Martin officiated, with burial following at  DeKalb Cemetery.
He passed away  March 12 at DeKalb Community Hospital.
He was a farmer and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Oma Tursty Allen; sister, Nayona Nokes, and Elizabeth Parkerson.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dean Crook Allen of Alexandria; one son, Albert Allen and bonnie Rene Pepin of Liberty; one brother, JC and Pat Allen of Alexandria; two nephews, Lucion and Carolyn Nokes of Liberty and Wayne Parkerson of Smithville; one niece, Faye Neville of Smithville; several great nieces and nephews also survive.
Pallbearers included; Leander and Bedford Taylor, Randy Bouldin, Lucas Bain, Jeff Nokes, and Royce Evans.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home,  Smithville, was in charge of arrangements.
